Wessel Wessels, CEO and Founder of Journey2Green, is a seasoned executive with over three decades of leadership experience, with the last 16 years dedicated to pioneering South Africa’s renewable energy sector. With extensive expertise in distributed energy solutions, Wessel has overseen projects exceeding 200 MWp in solar capacity and 450 MWh in battery storage across Africa. He serves on the committees of key industry organizations, including the South African Photovoltaic Industry Association (SAPVIA), South Africa Energy Storage Association (SAESA), and the Association for Renewable Energy Practitioners (AREP).
